COURSES

Courses are run on a private tuition basis on a mutually agreed date.  All courses include the following:

  • Tuition.

  • Tools and wood provided.

  • Wood to take home.

  • Course notes.

  • Homemade lunch and refreshments.

Knife Skills & Whittling Course

A one day course covering:

​

  • Knife selection.

  • Knife skills.

  • Knife sharpening.

  • Wood selection.

  • Making a number of projects.

Damen Knife Skills and Whittling Course.
One-Day Spoon Carving Course

A one day course covering:
 
  • Basic knife & axe skills.
  • Tool sharpening.
  • Making a simple spoon.

Two-Day Spoon Carving Course
 

​A two day course covering:
 

  • Making at least two projects.

  • Wood; selection, storage & properties.

  • ​Knife & axe skills.

  • Tool selection & sharpening.

The above courses are charged at the following rates:

While a range of standard courses are available, tailor-made courses can also be provided to meet specific student requirements.  The course fee is £150 per person per day.
